PORTIRAGNES is a village in the Southof France with 2600 inhabitants. Its well protected by the Mediterranean Sea and the Canal du Midi, by the natural reservat (the ancient delta of the river Orb) and vinyards.
How to find us:
In the county HERAULT (34), between Montpellier and Narbonne, at the beach of the "Golfe du Lion", between the well known touristic attraction of Cap d'Agde and Valras Plage
by car: A 9 (Orange - Nimes - Montpellier - Béziers ; exit 35 Béziers est; then direction national road RN 112 towards Agde/Sete; follow the the signs for PORTIRAGNES (DN 37) To arrive at PORTIRAGNES Plage, (3 km away from the village), you ignore the village itself and leave it to your left hand, having the canal du Midi on your right hand; strictly follow the DN 37 , you'll cross the Canal du Midi and strill continue on the DN 37, until you arrive at Portiragnes Plage. (Here you'd better stop unless you wanted to make your car swim in the Mediterranean Sea!)
